The fortress city of springs – with its 16 natural mineral sources and 6 more deeply drilled Hisarya rightly wins this title! The current name is derived from Arabic and Turkish, meaning fortress. Archaeological remains of a Roman city that existed on these lands in the 3rd century surround the city.
